We do a background and credit check using a 3rd party website called Tenant Background Search.
You are more than welcome to look at the website at www.
tenantbackgroundsearch.
com.
While on the website, please do not order the background check yourself.
It is a two-part process; we can't see the report if you order it.
We use the Comprehensive Tenant Screening report, which will cost each person $32.
95 per person over 18 who would stay at this residence.
If you are interested in applying, I will need a picture of each person's driver's license/state I.
D.
and their email address if they are 18 or older.
I will send you the link you must complete to order the background credit check.
I can only approve people with a background credit check.
That said, we pay the most attention to evictions within the last 36 months, repossessions, collections, and past balances due to utility companies.
I prefer you look at the property before applying because the background check is non-refundable.
The background/credit check cost does not go toward your deposit or rent.
Every property will have a deposit, which could be adjusted based on the background/credit check.
The standard deposit is equal to one month's rent.
