In 2011 after decades of learning the ins and outs of dairy hauling he took the leap to start DAY Transport Incorporated.
Through his passion for the dairy industry the business continues to grow with more expansions on the horizon.
The company currently has several late model Kenworth trucks in the fleet to run the day to day logistics of picking up at multiple local farms and deliveries to the dairy plants.
*Job Description*: Job Option: Farm routes pick up; Driver will pick up empty trailer and go to local farms collecting raw milk.
This job does require the ability to get in and out of the truck 10-15 times as well as being able to lift 50 pounds.
Driver will either take full trailer back to Richmond for future delivery or they will delivery to the dairy plant ie: Smith Richmond, Meijer Tipp City Ohio.
Job Option: Driver will pick up tanker truck of raw milk and deliver to dairy plants.
Dairy facilities are located in different locations Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin and North Carolina.
Return destination with empty is Richmond, Indiana loaded out deadhead back.
Dispatched for the entire week, not day by day.
