Job Summary:
Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.
All work will be completed in compliance with Hydro safety policies, EPA, Hazmat, and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with safety/operational standards.
Works on projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and or Cell Leader.
Performs preventative maintenance as required.
Maintains building, grounds, and utility systems.
Aids in the training of new maintenance employees.
Other duties may be assigned from time to time.
Provide a safe working environment for all in the department and enable personal growth.
Must be able to work long hours as needed in seasonal temperatures
Must be able to work well with others as part of a team
Must possess a willingness to learn and an eagerness to grow
Must be able to follow detailed directions
Ability to communicate with all levels of employees
Skills/Qualifications Required:
Understanding and experience with:
Hydraulics
Electrical
Combustion systems
Thermocouples
Mechanical
Welding
Microsoft Word and Excel High-level PLC experience, preferably Allen Bradley
SLC 500's systems, RSLogix 500 software
PLC 5's systems, RSLogix 5 software
ControlLogix Systems, RSLogix 5000 software
Panelview operator terminals, Panelbuilder software
Extrusion background preferred but not required
Required Education/Experience:
Two years of technical school including electrical, PLCs, hydraulics & pneumatics preferred but not required.
Two years of maintenance experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
Emphasis on PLCs, hydraulics, and mechanical
