The Big Picture:
Nestled within our bustling Connersville facility, the role of Production Planner awaits a driven individual ready to take charge.
As a mastermind behind our production scheduling, you'll orchestrate a symphony of planning, expediting, and progress monitoring for our work orders.
Collaborating closely with production management and materials teams, you'll be at the forefront of meeting customer demands and driving material requirements.
Your proactive approach will set the pace for manufacturing output, ensuring we're always one step ahead in delivering excellence.
What needs to be done?
Create and maintain production and work schedules, and prioritize job orders for production optimization
Follow up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectations
Interact with shop floor operators and management to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies
Confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates, inventory levels, and solving production problems
Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages
Provide support with receiving when need occurs
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal customers to ensure support of operations
What do you need to bring?
High school diploma (at minimum)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Customer focused mindset
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to relate well at all organizational levels and functions
Working knowledge of MS Office and MRP
Excellent oral and written communication skills
