Material Handler

We need YOU! This position is responsible for manage the materials in the warehouses within the manufacturing site.
The incumbent will oversee the development and execution of all activities surrounding Materials Management, The position will manage the efforts of the plant to ensure the properly manage of the goods from raw material through shipping and receiving to facilitate on time production scheduling and finished goods delivery.
The position directly reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
During your time as a Material Handler you will… Load and off-load packaged materials as well as stage materials to support production.
Operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and yard tractors as well as maintain assigned inspections and housekeeping duties.
Support Process Safety programs through participation in compliance audits, Pre-Start up Safety Reviews, PHAs (Revalidations; Clean-Sheets) and other hazard / risk assessment activities; utilize available Process Safety Information in the safe performance of work activities as well as complete and provide feedback on Process Safety related training.
Participate in process safety related incident investigations and complete assigned action items in a timely manner.
If you have… High School Diploma or GED 1 year of industrial equipment (forklift/tractor) experience in a warehouse setting Hazardous Materials Handling Certification CFR49 Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to have a self-directed work ethic.
