*Job Summary: *
Tiedemann-Bevs is looking for a Textile Cutting Operator who would be responsible for operating cutting machinery to precisely cut and prepare materials for the production of textiles.
This position requires a keen attention to detail, proficiency in machine operation, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
The Textile Cutting Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that raw materials are accurately cut to meet the specifications outlined in production orders.
*Key Responsibilities*:

Machine Operation: Operate cutting machines and equipment to cut textiles according to specified dimensions, patterns, and production requirements.
2.
Material Inspection: Inspect raw materials, such as fabric rolls or sheets, for defects or imperfections before initiating the cutting process.
3.
Pattern Recognition: Understand and interpret patterns, templates, or design layouts to ensure accurate cutting and minimize material waste.
4.
Quality Control: Monitor the quality of cut materials to ensure they meet established standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
5.
Production Efficiency: Work collaboratively with the production team to optimize cutting processes.
6.
Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of materials used, quantities cut, and any issues encountered during the cutting process.
7.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating cutting equipment, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
8.
Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders to relay information about production schedules, material availability, and any issues affecting the cutting process.
*Qualifications:*
1.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in textiles or related field is a plus.
2.
Previous experience as a Textile Cutting Operator or in a similar role within the textile industry is desirable but not required.

Ability to work independently

Ability to read and interpret patterns, templates, and design layouts.
5.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
6.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
7.
Ability to lift and move materials as required, up to 60 lbs.
8.
Understanding of safety procedures and adherence to safety guidelines.

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
