The Royal Group (TRG) currently has a position open for a Customer Service Representative/Estimator in Sidney, Ohio.
The Customer Service Representative/Estimator is responsible for cost estimating new projects and updating existing customer accounts as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
• Estimate new projects as submitted by customers, sales staff, design etc.
• Check routing, with input from production staff, on new items to make sure they are correct.
• Quote tooling costs.
• Get prices from vendors on any items that need to be outsourced.
• Quote new quantities for existing items.
• Keep sales updated on when their quotes will be ready.
• Assist sales personnel as appropriate and assist in generating supplemental sales.
• Look for opportunities to cross train and learn other functions of business.
• Implement, maintain, and support all company policies and procedures, including safety programs and good housekeeping.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous estimating/computer data entry experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• Previous experience working in the corrugated industry is preferred but not required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Proficient in Microsoft office; advanced level in excel program.
• Excellent communication skills; customer-oriented.
Able to speak effectively to employees, managers, customers, etc.
Ability to lead meetings and answer questions.
• Possess a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to calculate figures, such as discounts, costs, proportions and volumes.
• Possess a high degree of analytical skill.
• Ability to solve a variety of problems and deal with a variety of situation where only limited information and standardization exist
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions, training and procedure manuals.
• Ability to sit, stand, grasp, reach, push, twist, climb, bend, use of keyboard and 10-key, lift at least 50 lbs.

• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must have excellent time management skills and be well-organized.
